Marketing Site for B2B SaaS

Designed and shipped a marketing site with editorial CMS and integrated waitlist funnel. Hit a 98 Lighthouse score across all pages.

Problem

A Series-A SaaS startup had launched on a Webflow site that no longer fit their growth stage. Their content team couldn't ship articles fast enough, page speeds were tanking SEO rankings, and the marketing site couldn't share components with their in-app pages. They were burning $2,800 per month on Webflow plans plus contractor fees for every new template.

The team needed a real engineering foundation — fast pages, a proper CMS for non-technical editors, and shared design tokens with the product UI.

Approach

We rebuilt the marketing site from scratch on Next.js with Sanity as the headless CMS. The migration ran in parallel with the live Webflow site so nothing went down.

  • Designed a token system in CSS variables that the product team could later adopt for in-app pages.
  • Modeled content in Sanity with first-class support for hero variants, pricing tables, customer logos, and embedded case studies — all editable without engineering.
  • Built a typed content layer between Sanity and Next.js so editors can't accidentally publish broken pages.
  • Implemented ISR on every public route — content changes go live within 60 seconds without rebuilds.
  • Set up Vercel preview branches so marketing can review changes in production-identical environments before they go live.

The handoff included a 14-page Notion playbook for the content team so they don't need engineering for routine updates.

Outcome

  • Lighthouse 98 average across all marketing pages (was 64 on Webflow)
  • First Contentful Paint dropped from 2.1s to 0.4s
  • Marketing now ships content independently — first three articles published with zero engineering involvement
  • $2,800/month Webflow + contractor cost eliminated

Six months later the in-app dashboard adopted the same token system, so the brand finally feels coherent across surfaces.
